View On Your Behalf is operated by Peter Kirby, a sole trader based on the Isle of Wight, UK. References to "we", "us" or "VOYB" in these terms mean Peter Kirby trading as View On Your Behalf. You can contact us at hello@viewonyourbehalf.co.uk.
We attend property viewings on the Isle of Wight on your behalf and deliver a report comprising written notes, photographs, and (depending on the package selected) video. The service is provided in three packages: Essential, Full View and Live View, as described on our website.
We are not surveyors or property professionals. Our reports reflect honest personal observations and are intended to help you decide whether a property is worth visiting in person. They do not constitute a structural survey, valuation or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
Submitting a viewing request does not constitute a confirmed booking. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability. A booking is only confirmed once we have notified you by email that we can attend and agreed a viewing date.
Payment is taken only after we have confirmed availability. We accept payment by debit or credit card via Stripe.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a right to cancel within 14 days of making a payment. However, by requesting that we proceed with the viewing before the 14-day period has expired, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once the viewing has taken place.
If we are unable to attend the viewing for any reason within our control, we will offer you a full refund or an alternative date.
If the viewing is cancelled by the estate agent or vendor before it takes place, we will offer you a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
We do not offer refunds on the basis of the content of the report, or because the property did not meet your expectations.
We aim to deliver your report within 24 hours of the viewing taking place. Delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control. Reports are delivered via your secure online dashboard.
Our reports are based on visual observation during a single accompanied viewing. We cannot inspect areas that are inaccessible, concealed or locked. We are not responsible for defects, issues or conditions that were not visible or apparent during the viewing.
Our total liability to you in connection with any viewing is limited to the amount you paid for that viewing.
We recommend that you obtain a full structural survey before purchasing any property.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Your default password is your postcode — we strongly recommend changing it after your first login. You must not share your account with others.
Reports, photographs and video produced by us remain our intellectual property but are licensed to you for personal use in connection with your property purchase. You may not reproduce, share or publish them without our consent.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
